Fifty-nine new COVID-19 cases were reported on Tuesday, along with the death of a 68-year-old woman who had tested positive for the virus. 

The health authorities said 50 patients had recovered overnight, leaving 561 active cases. 1,758 swab tests were made in the past 24 hours.

The number of vaccine jabs has risen to 249,400, of which 74,053 were second doses.
