60 voluntary organisations impacted by Storm Harry to receive €330,000

The maximum amount organisations will be allocated is €30,000

Nearly €330,000 will be disbursed among 60 voluntary organisations that reported damage caused by Storm Harry.

Inclusion Minister Julia Farrugia provided details about the fund during a visit to the Sliema Aquatic Sports Club and RMJ Horse Rescue. 

The damage reported by organisations varies: some had to cancel events, others lost essential equipment or suffered damage to the places where they operate from.

Organisations that filed requests up to €10,000 could receive 100% of the amount, while those that suffered damage between €10,001 and €50,000 could recieve up to 80%. Expenses over €50,000 will receive up to 60% of the total. In all cases, the maximum amount organisations will be allocated is €30,000.
