A list tabled in parliament by Home Affairs Minister Tonio Borg shows there were five cases "against morals and honour of the family" seven cases of arson and one crime against the administration of justice.
There were also seven drug cases, a forgery case, eight fraud cases, 20 instances of illegal immigration, a case of abandonment of a child, three cases each of prostitution and sexual offences, nine instances of threats and private violence and 10 crimes against public officers.
The theft cases included 275 thefts from cars, 62 house burglaries, 47 car thefts and 42 instances of pick pocketing.
Crime statistics for September were published on Monday. They also showed one case of child abandonment, a slightly smaller number of thefts and an equal number of crimes involving damage.
The information was requested by Dr Gavin Gulia, opposition spokesman on home affairs.
