96% of assistant commissioners and polling officers voted on Tuesday

6,561 of the 6,821 registered voters had cast their vote by 10pm

Nearly all assistant electoral commissioners and polling place officers voted on Tuesday.

The electoral commission said in a statement that by 10pm, 6,561 of the 6,821 registered voters had cast their vote.

This amounts to 96.19% of those eligible to vote on Tuesday.

They cannot cast their votes on Saturday, election day, as they will be helping out at the various polling stations across the islands.
