Pro-Life Day will be celebrated tomorrow in Valletta with a programme of activities organised by the Malta Unborn Child Movement.

The programme starts at 10am with a ‘March for Life’ by the band of the Xgħajra Scouts and Guides, from City Gate to the Palace in St George’s Square. After a courtesy visit to Acting President Dolores Cristina, the band will march at 10.30am from the Palace to St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, where at 11am Archbishop Emeritus Paul Cremona will lead a concelebrated Mass with the participation of pregnant mothers and their partners.

At noon there will be a manifestation in favour of life from conception at the Caravaggio Oratory of St John’s Co-Cathedral, which will be addressed by the Acting President, the Minister of the Family, Children’s Rights and Social Solidarity Michael Falzon, Nationalist Party deputy leader David Agius, Alternattiva Demokratika chairperson Carmel Cacopardo, Godfrey Farrugia on behalf of the Democratic Party, Malta Unborn Child Movement coordinator Manuel Mangani, Eleonor Borg on behalf of the Gift of Life Foundation and a pregnant mother and her partner.

The public is invited to attend.
