APAP. On September 7, at Boffa Hospital, MARIA, of San Ġwann, aged 73, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons George and his wife Antida, Joseph and his wife Lucia, Donald and his wife Ruth, her grandchildren Roberta and Wayne, her brothers and sisters, other relatives and friends. AQUILINA. On September 1, at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, JOSEPH of Sta Venera, aged 58, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and supported by the prayers and songs of the Neocatechumenal Way. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. at Sta Venera parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Heartfelt thanks go to Puttinu Cares, the Malta Community Chest Fund, Hospice Malta, the Maltese Embassy, the dedicated staff at MITU, Mater Dei Hospital and at the Royal Marsden Hospital. CAUCHI. On September 5, at St Catherine Home, Attard, MARIA CONCETTA (Tetty) née Spiteri aged 89, widow of Paul, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Pierre and wife Tonia, her daughters Maria, Anna and Andrew, Therese and Kailesh, her grandchildren Jean-Pierre, Sarah, Henri, Danielle, Mark, James, Lara, Paul and Andrew and their respective spouses and partners, her great-grandchildren, her sisters Sr Carmelina (FMM) and Sr Marie (SJA), nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Catherine Home tomorrow at 8.45 a.m. for St Mary parish church, Attard, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Dominican Community at St Catherine’s, particularly Sr Eustella and Sr Antoinette together with all the carers of the St Joseph Wing for their dedication and loving care they showed towards their mother. On September 6, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, ATTILIO (Tilly) of St Julians, aged 72, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, surrounded by his wife, children and family. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Doreen, his children Marika and Anthony and their spouses, his brothers Charlie and Victor, his grandchildren Leonie, Annelise, Johan, Jake and Shantelle, other relatives and friends.
