SCARFE-PISCOPO. On September 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, BRIAN, aged 59, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Rita née Piscopo, his brother Malcolm and his wife Mary née Piscopo (Rita’s sister), his other siblings-in-law Sr Teresa Maria S.O.C., Jane and her husband Lewis Wellman and Charles and his wife M’Rose, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 3.15pm for The Annunciation parish church, Tarxien, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 4pm followed by interment at Tarxien cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
SCHEMBRI AGIUS. On September 15 at Mater Dei hospital, FERNANDO-JOSEF of Mosta, passed away under tragic circumstances, aged 22. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his parents Dorothy and Manwel, his only brother Luciano, his beloved girlfriend Kirsty, her parents Tonio and Ann Marie and her brother Ryan, his uncles, aunties and cousins, the management and colleagues at the Radisson Golden Sands Hotel, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3pm for St Mary’s parish church (Rotunda), Mosta where a Mass in thanksgiving to God for Fernando’s happy life will be said at 3.30pm. Dress: casual smart, preferably no black. Heartfelt special thanks go to relatives and numerous friends and colleagues who accompanied him day and night at the Intensive Care Unit at Mater Dei Hospital. Heartfelt thanks also go to the dedicated staff at the Emergency and ITU Departments.

She leaves to mourn her loss her children George and his wife Helen and Carmen and her husband Martin Portelli, her grandchildren Mary Claire and her husband Alan Borg and Miranne and her boyfriend Alex Sciberras, her brothers Joseph, Carmel and his wife Polly, Vincent residing in Australia, Frans and his wife Doris, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for St Cajetan parish church Ħamrun, where mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
ZARB. On September 17, DANIEL, of Żabbar, aged 86, passed away peacefully at St Vincent de Paul Residence, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He is fondly remembered by his wife Filomena, his children Godfrey, Marthese and her family, David and Marlene, Isabelle, his sisters Helen and her husband Victor, Margaret and her husband Charles, his grandchildren Noelle, Paul and Philip, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow at 1.30pm for Żabbar parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
