Obituary
BUTTIGIEG. On February 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, CHARLIE of Mellieħa, aged 71, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Greatly missed by his wife Rose, his sons Michael and Ray, his grandson Jake, his brother Joe and his wife Katrina, his in-laws and their families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for Maria Bambina parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at Omm il-Ħniena Cemetery, Mellieħa. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
MARCHESE. On February 13, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, ALICE of Sliema, aged 96, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss several relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence today at 2.30pm for the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
Requiem Mass
On the eighth anniversary of the death of MATTHEW SALIBA, Mass for the repose of his soul will be celebrated tomorrow at 10.30am at the Oratory chapel, Birkirkara. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
