DE BONO. On March 19, JOSEPH, aged 87, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Daniel and his wife Stefania, Marie Therese and her husband Raymond Sammut, Martin and his wife Stephanie, his partner Lydia Yeomans, his grandchildren Miguel, Karla, Julia, Lara and Bettina and partners’ children Giselle and Nathan, his brother and sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

EBEJER. On March 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, Chev. FRANCIS (FRANCO) PAUL, KStJ, KCC, deputy commissioner, St John Ambulance Malta, passed peacefully away aged 85, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rita (Lolita), his children Angele and Paul Licari, Christine and Steve Jones, Paul and Amanda, and Sean, his grandchildren Andrew, James, Beppe, Elaine, Lara, Daniella, Matteo, Stefan and Timothy and his great-grandson Luca. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at the Annunciation parish church, Balzan, on Thursday March 31st at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. Special thanks go to the staff of the Renal Department and Ward M5 at Mater Dei Hospital. May the Lord grant him eternal rest. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement would be greatly appreciated.

IMBROLL. On March 18, at his residence, MARIO, of Paola, aged 66, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his mother Carmela, his uncle Salvino, his siblings Catherine and her husband Henry, Anna and her husband Paul, Louise and her husband Michael, his many nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves his residence tomorrow at 1.30pm for the Addolorata chapel, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

ROSSO – On March 17, ANNA MARIA, née Spiteri, passed peacefully away at her residence in Sliema. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Danny, her daughters Danica and her husband Steve, Ylenia, her granddaughter Béatrice, her sister Gloria and her husband Emilio, her in-laws, nephew and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Action for Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

SCERRI. On March 18, TELESPHORO, of Sliema, residing in Cospicua, aged 79, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Ġemma, his daughter Louise and her husband Charles, his sons Silvio and his partner Simone, Charles and his wife Jacqueline, his grandchildren Adrienne, Sarah, Gabriel and Krista, his brother, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, their respective spouses, their children, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.45pm for Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception church, Cospicua, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetry. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Requiem Mass

Mass for the repose of the soul of MARIA GHIRLANDO, who passed away on March 25, 2010, will be celebrated on Tuesday at 6.30pm at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

BORG – PAUL. Treasured memories of a dear father, tomorrow being the 51st anniversary of his death. Always in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.
