Alfred Grech recently launched his first anthology of poems, Mix-Xefaq u Lil Hinn, during a varied evening at the Gozo Ministry in Victoria. The book has an introduction by Oliver Friggieri.

The evening opened with an introduction by poet Fr George Mercieca, followed by the reading of excerpts from the anthology by George Camilleri and a critical review by Prof. Friggieri.

The anthology is a mixture of autobiographical, spiritual, religious and, above all, very personal poems.

The evening also featured musical interludes by soprano Claudia Tabone Caruana, accompanied on the piano by Stephen Attard.
