Forty art pieces are being exhibited in a group show themed HospArt25. The event is one in a series of events being organised by Hospice Malta to commemorate 25 years of campaigning, awareness-raising and high-level respite and care provided to hundreds of patients and their families.
Participating artists include Luca Cauchi, James Vella Clark, Anna Galea, Stephanie Galea, Paul Haber, Mark G. Muscat, Richard Saliba and Kenneth Zammit Tabona. The works include wall-hung and free-standing ceramic sculptures, drawings, photographs and paintings in a variety of media.
Hospice Malta is a voluntary organisation that provides the highest standards of palliative care in a holistic manner for persons reaching end of life due to cancer, motor neuron disease, cardiac, respiratory and renal diseases. More than 7,000 patients and their families have benefitted from Hospice services, which are all provided free of charge.
HospArt25 runs until October 28 at the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Republic Street, Valletta.
