Being one of the Corinthia Hotel’s 12 original employees, 1964 -1972, I fully concur with my former working colleague Louis Parnis’s sentiments (July 7).

Alfred Pisani always had the drive to establish Corinthia Hotels as the worldwide brand that it is today. He always had a perfect eye for detail and that nothing should be out of place at all times and taught many of us the art of perfection. Today, we realise that he imprinted perfection in our minds. Long may he reign.
