JMartans Automation Ltd, the Mosta-based automation systems specialist, has been appointed exclusive representative for German company Beckhoff Automation GmbH in Malta.

Beckhoff implements open automation systems based on PC control technology. Its product range covers industrial computers, Fieldbus components, drive technology and automation software.

Products can be used as separate components or integrated to a complete control system, applied to numerous industries.

Beckhoff applications include intelligent building automation, data acquisition and logging, energy metering and monitoring, and industrial solutions.

Beckhoff building automation enables the integration of IT and automation worlds in the control of industrial and office buildings.

The product range consists of a universal, scalable, modular control system that offers suitable solutions for any task: from powerful industrial PCs as building computers to local Ethernet controllers that record and pre-process signals directly and locally.
