Bad example

The other day, I went as usual to my newsagent at Triq il-Wileġ, Qawra. What I saw was beyond belief. A car double parked, four-way flashers on, engine running to keep the air conditioner going, no driver in sight.

This car was from a driving school and was boldly displaying the usual advertising one sees on such cars.

If this is an example of what the youth of today can expect from their tutor, is it any wonder that so many young drivers end up at Mater Dei Hospital or worse?

Driving instructors should get their act together and set a good example to all new drivers.
