Bortex, the fabrics and tailoring company, is putting the final touches to its new menswear store at Bay Street in St Julian’s, the sixth in its network across Malta’s high streets.
The store interior has been stylishly designed to showcase the collections which define the world of Bortex Fine Tailoring, from suits to shirts, shoes and a host of ancillary products, as well as clothing ideas for the younger segment of the market.
The 240-square metre store will stock suits in fabrics by houses including Lanificio F.lli Cerruti and Lanificio Ermenegildo Zegna.
They will be complemented by two other front-running formal wear brands Gagliardi and Rochas. Casual wear ranges from McNeal, Cristian Berg and Paul Rosen, and shoes by Loake, Anatomic, Hush Puppies and John White
“This will be much more that than a suit outlet,” according to Sam Borg of Bortex. “This is a full menswear concept store with a broad product range created for all segments of the market from the young generation upwards.
“We are seeking to raise the bar in terms of the in-store shop experience. Bortex is a tailor, manufacturing for some of the biggest brands in Europe. Finish, attention to detail and customer service are pivotal to our business.”
Bortex has stores in Valletta, two in Sliema, Marsa and Mosta and an online presence at www.bortexgroup.com.
