British house prices dipped 0.2 per cent in April from March, a key survey by home-loans provider Nationwide showed last Wednesday.

“The price of a typical house fell by 0.2 per cent in April, which left prices 1.3 per cent lower than the same period of 2010,” Nationwide’s chief economist Robert Gardner said in a statement.

The average value of a home in Britain stood €184,035 in April, according to Nationwide.
