Instead of trying to score some political points by telling the public that a bus driver on the public transport system is pocketing money due to the company by charging less and not issuing tickets, it would have been more appreciated and definitely more appropriate had Denis Mifsud (July 23) reported the incident to the police or Transport Malta, supplying bus number, time and place.

By accepting to pay €5 instead of €6 minus the ticket, Denis Mifsud became an accomplice and therefore a partner in crime.
