Victoria: Carnival in Victoria kicks off on Friday at 6.30pm. Dance companies, bands and special guests will perform at Independence Square. Entrance is free. On Saturday, a Carnival parade along Republic Street will start at 9.30am, followed by a show at Independence Square, Victoria, including schoolchildren dance companies, adult dance companies, floats, grotesque masks and bands. Entrance is by tickets.

Nadur: Today there will be dancing, carnival floats and sketches at St Peter and St Paul Square at 12.30pm. On Thursday a Children’s Carnival will be organised by the Nadur Primary School together with Nadur council. The traditional food festival of Jeudi Gras, organised by the Nadur Youngsters Football Club, will be held at December 13 Street at 7pm. On Friday, there will be another Children’s Carnival. The Spontaneous Carnival will be held between Friday and February 12 at 8pm.

There will be public transport to and from Nadur.

Xagħra: A Carnival spectacle, including the traditional Maypole, Il-Kukkanja, will be held in the square in front of Jesus of Nazareth church on Saturday at 7.30pm. Special guest singer Maria D’Amato and her band will entertain those present.
