Les Parfaits Inconnus, a circus troupe from Montreal, Canada, will take part in this year’s Żigużajg festival for children. Directed by Sylvain Dubois, the troupe will feature The Return, a combination of circus, music and theatre into a single performance. It is aimed at children over three.
The show combines death-defying stunts with catching songs and storytelling, including acrobats, drummers and guitarists.
The Return tells the story of a wandering acrobat family. The seven members come from different artistic background – three joined from the National Circus School in Montreal, two are self-taught acrobats and the others are musicians.
The group toured various places, including Canada, Mexico, Romania and Brazil. Recently, they took part in the Vancouver International Children Festival.
“Children love it, but it isn’t just for them. Whole families find The Return hilarious and want to get involved,” says Dubois.
Les Parfaits Inconnus will perform at the Manoel Theatre on Saturday and next Sunday at 6.15pm.
