UEFA have announced further appointments for Maltese officials, including two assignments for referee Clayton Pisani in the space of five days.
Today, Clayton Pisani will take charge of the Europa League first qualifying round, second leg match between Albania’s KS Flamurtari and FC Sioni Bolnisi, of Georgia at the Flamurtari Stadium, Vlora.
The first leg ended in a 3-2 win for Flamurtari.
Pisani will have Ingmar Spiteri and Duncan Sultana as assistant referees while Philip Farrugia will act as the fourth official in what will be his debut in a European match.
Next Tuesday, Pisani will officiate the Champions League second qualifying round, first leg, between Moldova’s FC Sheriff and Montenegro’s FK Sutjeska at Stadionul Sheriff, Tiraspol.
The Malta FA have appointed Ingmar Spiteri and Edward Spiteri as assistant referees and Mario Apap as fourth official.
Meanwhile, Gaetano DeGab-riele will be the referee observer at today’s Europa League match between PFC Litex Lovech (Bulgaria) and FC Veris (Moldova) in Bulgaria.
