So, according to Valerie Borg (June 11), people are fools for having voted for Lawrence Gonzi as he created a line of poverty with one bill following another.

I presume that she is advocating that, next time round, we should all vote for Joseph Muscat as we shall all become very rich and the one bill following the other will stop arriving through our letter boxes.

May I remind readers that it was the same Ms Borg who, in 1996, advised us to vote Labour because value added tax and the cash registers were going to become something of the past.

Therefore, I believe that it was a misjudgement on her part to place people like me who voted Nationalist in the fool’s category.
