UK television talent show The X Factor teamed up with British Airways to fly its famous judges and contestants to Bermuda, Cancun, Los Angeles and Nice for final auditions.
Aspiring pop stars travelled to some of the airline’s most glamorous destinations to perform for celebrities Simon Cowell, Mel B, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Louis Walsh, in the hope of making it through to the live finals.
Louis took the groups to the pink, sandy beaches of Bermuda, where he and guest judge Tulisa Contostavlos stayed at the five-star Fairmont Southampton hotel. Contestants went diving, swimming and jet-skiing, as well as the 18-hole golf club.
Mel B and the boys visited the party paradise of Cancun, Mexico. Staying at the five-star Occidental Grand Xcaret in Riviera Maya, the contestants performed for the ex-Spice Girl and guest judge Emma Bunton as well as enjoying the dolphinarium, spa, eco-archeological park, and the Caribbean Sea.
Living the rock star dream, the over 25s travelled to Los Angeles on BA’s A380 superjumbo. Staying in Hollywood, contestants explored the city before performing for Simon and guest judge Sinitta at his Beverly Hills residence.
Returning judge Cheryl chose the French Riviera for the girls. With Tinie Tempah on hand, hopefuls stayed at the Amarante Golf Plaza Hotel in Saint-Tropez.
