On a Tuesday evening, recently, I was coming back from Gozo and the wind was blowing between the channels. As we approached Ċirkewwa the ferry had to make such a tight turn, because of the wind, that everyone had to hold on tight to the tables in the cafeteria, so badly the ship listed.

The Ċirkewwa port is so badly located it makes it very dangerous for these ferries when trying to sail in. I ask: who was the bright spark that decided to locate the ferry port there and at such an almost impossible angle for the ferries to berth, unlike what was done in Mġarr, Gozo?

I am sure that, whoever it was, did not at any time consult any of the ferry captains.
