With the Eurovision Song Contest just days away, The Dubliner Pub in St Julian’s has thought of an ideal way to get into the spirit of things.

The pub will be staging the first edition of the The Dubliner Euroversion Song Contest at 9.30pm on Thursday night, two days ahead of the Eurovision finals.

The competition is open to local and foreign artists, with each participant singing one song. This can be either an original song or a cover version, and the singer can play the guitar or be accompanied by a guitarist, but no other instruments are allowed.

The winner of the contest will receive €100 credit to be spent at The Dubliner, as well as a magnificent trophy to mark the occasion.

Registration is free, so if you want to enter, look up The Dubliner Euroversion Song Contest page on Facebook for more details.
