An art exhibition titled Legends with Legs, set up by fifth year students at the Gozo College Primary School in Victoria is currently on at the Citadel Cultural Centre.

Funded by Arts Council Malta, the project’s aim was for students to express themselves through art. They had the opportunity to discover three Gozitan legends during workshops at the Visual Performing Arts School Xewkija: Sansuna, the Gawgaw and Atlantis. They then interpreted these legends through art, music and drama.

All three workshops were documented on film by the performing arts school students.

The exhibition of nine paintings produced during the workshops runs at the Citadel Cultural Centre in Victoria until January 7.
