In an initiative to further strengthen its commitment towards achieving work-life balance for its employees, Vodafone recently held a free-foot screening of children whose parents work with the company.

The foot screening programme is being held at the Podopaediatric Clinic at the Birkirkara Health Centre which was fully funded by the Vodafone Malta Foundation.

With the help of podopaediatric specialist Ivan Farrugia, who manages the clinic, a special environment was set up purposely for these sessions at Vodafone House, including props, crayons, drawings, balloons and music specifically for children.

The free service offered to Vodafone families is an initial examination focusing mainly on early detection, preventive foot care and the treatment and correction of early foot deformities.

The Podopaediatric Clinic at the Birkirkara Health Centre is open to all children up to 15 years and is free. For further information call 2149 4961/2.
