Between 2010 and 2014, foreign nurses engaged at Mater Dei Hospital came from 25 different countries, Parliamentary Secretary for Health Chris Fearne told Claudio Grech (PN) in reply to a parliamentary question on Tuesday.

Asked by MP Censu Galea how they managed communication among themselves and with Maltese colleagues, Dr Fearne replied with a chuckle that they all spoke English.
