Cathedral Archpriest Mgr Joseph Attard recently carried out the first full-immersion baptism at the Cathedral in Victoria. Max, the son of Gordon and Charmaine Tanti, was baptised in a specially set up baptismal font where the baby was totally immersed in water. Baptism by immersion is a very old rite.
