The Italian-flagged cruise ship Costa Pacifica was recently the chosen venue for an event in aid of of the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation.
Costa Pacifica, one of the Costa fleet, entered service in June 2009 and has 1,504 staterooms, including 521 with private balconies; 91 spa staterooms; 58 suites with private balconies; and 12 spa suites. Some 200 guests were hosted on board to experience Italy’s finest atmosphere.
They enjoyed a full tour of the ship, visiting restaurants, lounges, spa facilities, gym, open decks and pool areas, as well as the glittering theatre where they were entertained with an amazing Costa show by on–board artists, before being treated to a sumptuous lunch.
At the end of the show, the Captain of Costa Pacifica presented President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca with €9,700, all funds raised by this event, in contribution towards L–Istrina. The Costa Crociere Foundation addresses tough social and environmental issues in Italy and abroad, in order to give people a solid basis on which to build a better future.
