For the third consecutive year, the Propera Avgesco Drama Group – Ħamrun, in full collaboration with the Ħamrun local council, will be presenting a live representation of the biggest demonstration of love known to mankind – the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Written and directed by Pierre Bonello, this story will be taking us back to that very moment when our Lord Jesus Christ commended his spirit to the Eternal Father. Once his body was buried in a nearby tomb it was ordered to be guarded at all times. Brokenhearted, Peter goes to the crucifixion site to search for the tomb and be close to his master and to ask for His forgiveness for having betrayed him. However he is stopped by Roman soldiers. Close to where Jesus was crucified and buried, there was a woman who was exiled from the city from the High Priests because she was possessed by evil spirits.

What happened in those days between the death and resurrection of Christ? What did Peter, James and John together with Magda and Sarah had to go through? How did Gamaiel and the Roman Centurian continue their assigned tasks? What exactly happened in those days?

Fuqek Jien Nibni l-Knisja Tiegħi, will be staged on the steps of the St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun on Saturday at 8.30pm.

Limited seating will be available for the public.
