Facing the stark reality of serious illness within one’s family is probably the worse thing that could happen. Surviving all the complex social and financial implications of it is not only arduous but impossible to overcome if one had to be left alone.

Thanks to the professional help of the Puttinu Cares Foundation, supported by donations deriving from the public, it would have been unbearable.

While my wife was undergoing treatment in Sutton, UK, starting mid-May 2011 up to April 7, we spent the whole 11 months benefitting from a well-equipped apartment thanks to the kind assistance of Puttinu Cares.

While sincerely thanking the public that incessantly comes up with initiatives to assist the Puttinu Cares Foundation, we can assure them that all the donations do materialise in tangible help to Maltese patients and relatives who really need it. Following my personal experience I would like to encourage civil society to keep on supporting the Puttinu Cares Foundation.
