Jeannine Giglio, of tax, corporate and fiduciary services provider GSB Services, has been appointed to the board of the Association of International Tax Consultants at the recent general meeting in Zurich.
The AITC’s general meeting in 2014 will be hosted in Malta by GSB after a proposal by Dr Giglio’s was unanimously accepted.
The AITC board will be led by Pier Luigi Brogi of Italy for the next four years with Tae Young Cho of Brazil (vice-president), and members Aart Spans (The Netherlands) responsible for finance, Rok Meglic (Slovenia) as administrator, and Dr Giglio who will lead its marketing.
AITC was founded by six tax consultants in 2001 and has since grown to 45 members. It has evolved into a forum for international consultants to share their thinking, experience, information and solutions to provide their clients with value-added services.
