Kavallieri Handball Club organised a festival at the University Sports Complex last week. Besides an encouraging turn-out from the club’s youth members, the event also attracted several children who were not familiar with both the sport and the club but either way were encouraged to attend by their friends. “This goes to show that the hard work being put in by the club to increase the numbers and introduce the sport to newcomers is indeed paying off,” Kavallieri HC said in a statement. The festival was organised in such a way that children were divided into their respective age groups and participated in fun and different activities. The event was a success thanks mainly to the efforts of the youth committee within our club as well as our qualified coaches who offering their talents in helping make this festival a success.” The youth handball festival was supported by Sport Malta.
