The fifth edition of the three-day Lejlet Lapsi Notte Gozitana ends today.

The programme includes a walking tour, with explanations of the flora and fauna at 10 a.m. Transport will be provided from Victoria to the departure point.

A hands-on agricultural experience will be held at Ta’ Mena Estates in Marsalforn and Tal-Massar in Għarb at 10.30 a.m.

At 11 a.m. there will be previews of Xlendi’s heritage – a walking tour starting from the war mills and ending near Xlendi Tower, and Gozo during World War II – a talk in the war shelters at the Citadel.

A picnic for the family will be held at Dwejra Bay at 11.45 a.m. Gastronomy and local products will be on show. Transport will be provided from San Lawrenz Square.

Il-Praspar ta’ Żmien l-Imgħoddi – short plays by Anton Chekov with musical animation, will be held in Narrow Street, Victoria, at 5 p.m.

Several exhibitions will be open around Victoria apart from street entertainment and children’s attractions.

A major initiative this year is a campaign to save five tons of CO₂ by encouraging visitors to walk around Victoria rather than use other forms of transport.
