Top fashion designer Marc Jacobs has confirmed he is leaving Louis Vuitton...after delivering a spectacular show on the final day of Paris Fashion Week yesterday.

The 50-year-old American, who has been creative director of the world famous luxury French brand for the past 16 years, signed off with an all-black spring/summer 2014 Ready To Wear collection. Jacobs, pictured below right, is leaving to concentrate on his own label, in which LVMH has a substantial stake, as it prepares for a stock market flotation.

Jacobs was once voted one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
