The Luxol Sports Ground was a hive of activity yesterday as various personalities from the football local scene gathered for the sixth edition of “Gowl għall-Istrina”. The football marathon got under way early in the afternoon with continuous play lasting until late in the night. Proceeds from “Gowl għall-Istrina”, organised jointly by the presenters of the main football programmes on local TV in conjuction with the Malta FA, will be forwarded to the Community Chest Fund.
