Ella Camilleri recently graduated from the University of Bath, UK, with a Master of Science in Finance, where she was awarded a first class and ranked first among her 120 fellow students.
Ms Camilleri’s average mark throughout the course was the highest ever achieved, and for this she received an award from KPMG.
A dissertation on the UK banking sector that Ms Camilleri submitted as part of the degree was described by an external examiner as the best MSc Finance dissertation he had ever read. It is currently in the process of being published in a leading finance journal.
Ms Camilleri embarked on the MSc course after being awarded a Steps scholarship, part-financed by the European Social Fund under Operational Programme II – Cohesion Policy 2007-2013, ‘Empowering People for More Jobs and a Better Quality of Life’.
In 2012, Ms Camilleri graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Malta. She received the Dean’s Award in 2011 and a BOV award in 2012.
