For Mazars Malta, October is synonymous with Team Building Day. This year it was decided to give this fun day a wider scope by linking it to corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Mazars closed its offices for the day and headed to St Joseph’s Home in Santa Venera, for a day of team-building activities in collaboration with event organiser Jugs Malta. The employees were divided into groups and took part in training sessions with jugglers, balloon modellers, plate spinning and face-painting instructors, while the partners engaged in preparing lunch for those involved.
The overall concept of this CSR exercise was to have all employees involved in putting up a one-hour performance for an audience of around 40 children from various homes around Malta.
Managing partner Anthony Attard said the day was a great success and gratifying on two fronts: on a professional level by reinforcing the firm’s team dynamics and on a personal level by throwing a great party for all the children.
St Joseph’s Home director, Fr Frankie Cini, MSSP, thanked the staff at Mazars Malta for their efforts to make this happen.
Mazars is an international, integrated and independent organisation specialised in audit, accounting, tax and advisory services.
