The sixth edition of Iljieli Melleħin (Mellieħa Nights), organised by the Mellieħa local council, will be taking place between August 16 and 18.

The main roads and squares of Mellieħa will be pedestrianised for the occasion and turned into a celebration for the whole family to enjoy. Restaurants will place tables and chairs in the main streets where guests will be able to dine al fresco.

The opening night will feature a concert by the Queen Tribute Band, while highlights include arts, music, culture, sports and food, a Disney parade, other children’s activities and performances by local artists.

The 2,000-year-old Mellieħa Sanctuary will be open to the public and choral concerts will be performed.

There will also be guided tours to World War II shelters.

Local NGOs will be setting up and manning stands selling different types of food and drinks.
