George Borg is one of the many church models enthusiasts found in Gozo.

It goes without saying that Mr Borg, who hails from St George’s parish in Victoria, has a special affection for the liturgical feast of his patron saint.

Each year, for the liturgical feast of St George, celebrated on April 23, Mr Borg puts on display a miniature statue of St George and proudly decorates his church with the best decorations and accessories he possesses to honour in the most solemn way his patron saint.
