Twelve statuary groups of episodes from the Passion, replicas of some of those carried in Good Friday processions in Malta and Gozo, will be on display at Triq il-Madonna tal-Ġilju, Mqabba. The clay statuettes were made by Salvu Bonello of Senglea.

The statuettes, which are decorated with flowers made of gold and silver-embroidered thread (ganutell), are inside a model of a church complete with Altar of Repose, a Via Sacra and banners. Opening times are 6 to 9 p.m. on weekdays, 6 to 11 p.m. on Maundy Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon on Good Friday.
