The Manoel Theatre is presenting the concert Musical Fairy Tales tomorrow.

The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra will be conducted by Michalis Economou with Carmine Lauri as guest leader and special guest Ksenija Sidorova on the accordion.

The programme includes Tchaikovsky’s romantic Romeo and Juliet and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade Op. 35, which is inspired by the heroine of One Thousand and One Nights.

Latvian accordionist Ksenija Sidorova, a leading ambassador of the accordion as a classical instrument in its own right, will also be joining the MPO for a performance of Piazzolla’s Concierto Aconcagua.

Musical Fairy Tales is taking place tomorrow at the Manoel Theatre in Valletta at 8pm. For tickets log on to www.teatrumanoel.com.mt or call the booking office on 2124 6389.
