For the third consecutive year, the Mellieħa local council is organising the International Music Festival.

The festival is being held over four days, starting today and ending on Sunday.

The first event, being held at the Manikata parish church today at 8pm, will see a performance by the English choir Cantamici.

The following three days of the festival will be held at the Mellieħa parish square. Different kinds of music will be played, including classic numbers, film themes as well as contemporary music.

Following the success achieved during the past editions, including among the tourists residing in the locality, this festival will serve as a platform for the local bands and orchestra, together with local and international choirs, bagpipes and local bands.

Entrance is free of charge.
