Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja will preside over the inauguration of the new Santa Marija Band Club premises in Żebbuġ, Gozo, today at 6pm. A musical programme, entitled Festum Olivarum, will be held under the direction of Mro Joseph Grech and under the patronage of the celebrated tenor and Bishop Mario Grech. Work on the premises has been going on for the past 10 years under the supervision of band president George Cefai. It was designed by Emmanuel Cini. The band was established in 1995.
