The Għaqda Drammatika Azzjoni Kattolika Xagħra last Sunday staged a Passion play, Veronika, by Canon Joe Meilaq at the Catholic Action hall in Xagħra. The play was directed by Josephine Azzopardi. The leading roles of Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus were played by Rebecca Bajada, Carmel Mercieca and three-month-old Mattia Farrugia.
