A driver who allegedly made a snide remark to two officers was yesterday charged with assaulting them.

Paul Scicluna denied slightly injuring Police Sergeant Renaldo Cremona and Constable Jurgen Falzon on Sunday morning at the Ġnejna Bay car park.

Defence lawyer Michael Sciriha claimed it was his client who had been attacked. Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit granted bail.
