Some months ago, a promenade in Żebbuġ, Gozo was rebuilt. It is situated very close to the primary school and the playing field.
This promenade has a drop of about six metres on one side. It was left without railings because of some disagreement between the local council and the company that was contracted to do the railings.
Now that school has begun, this is causing a serious threat to the children’s safety. Are we waiting for an accident to happen for this railing to be installed? Ministers for Gozo and education and health and safety unit, please note.
