There was a time recently when Mater Dei Hospital’s laboratory could not offer PSA (prostate) tests because the manufacturer had recalled all kits, citing a lack of precision in test results.

Answering a parliamentary question by Mario Galea (PN), Health Minister Godfrey Farrugia said new kits had now been supplied and the laboratory situation was back to normal.
