Inspired by the beautiful gardens surrounding San Anton Palace in Attard, aromatherapist, cosmetologist and perfumer Stephen Cordina’s latest fragrance collection – ‘San Anton’ – pays homage to the trees and flora that have thrived here for hundreds of years.
Created as the official San Anton Palace fragrance and under the patronage of President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, this sweet-smelling collection will be presented to dignitaries staying in the private suites at the Palace. It will also be for sale at San Anton Palace at various fundraising events, including the upcoming Mother’s Day Event at Verdala Palace and online at www.stephencordina.com. Twenty-five per cent of sales from this fragrance collection will be donated to the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation.
During a press conference, President Coleiro Preca highlighted how Cordina’s determination, his creativity and his imagination to create these fragrances through natural resources makes her really proud, adding that through his line of work, he is giving visibility to our country while also contributing towards the foundation – Malta’s national charity.
The San Anton collection includes three sizes of Stephen’s flagship handbalm candles, as well as room diffusers and linen sprays. It includes top notes of orange blossom flowers, middle notes of jasmine and base notes of cedar wood, making it the perfect fragrance to be enjoyed at this time of year.
“I was thrilled to be asked to create this fragrance by the President and immediately knew that I would use the natural environment as my muse,” said Cordina, who trained in the UK and Switzerland before returning to Malta.
