Our Lady Immaculate School, Hamrun, recently held an educational trip to Paris for Form 3 and 4 students studying French and a day trip to Sicily for Form 2 students.
The group of 30 students on the Paris trip spent the mornings followed a French language course. In the afternoons and weekend, they visited places of interest in the French capital including the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Élysées, the Île de la Cité and the La Défense and Montmartre areas.
Other highlights of the trip included activities at the Paris Explora at La Villette, a Paris-by-night cruise on the bateau-mouche, a visit to the Chateau de Versailles, a day-trip to the medieval village of Provins and a full day at Disneyland Resort. The group also experienced travelling by metro and RER trains and tasting French specialties.
The Form 2 trip to Sicily included a visit to Mount Etna and a trip to the baroque city of Noto.
